MSE to Start F&O Trading on NSE platform
The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has permitted the Madras Stock Exchange (MSE) to enable its members to trade on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) platform in the equity derivatives segment. Following this, MSE is expected to commence operations on the NSE in both cash and F&O (futures and options) segments soon, says a release from the exchange. "Commencement of trading through the NSE would tremendously help in revitalizing MSE, which, over a period, had lost out business volumes," the release quoted S. Venkateswaran, Director of the 72-year-old MSE, as saying.
